VEGETARIAN AND HEALTHY
Ive been a vegetarian for about fifteen years. Dont want to hurt animals and know that my life is not dependent upon the death of another creature.
We can be super healthy by being veg and not leave a footprint of carcasses along the way.
The internet is full of vegetarian recipes and raw juicing sites - take a look at some of them.
I juice every day with my Oscar juicer - The juice is delicious. and its my lunch.
Home grown Kale, mint leaves, some Broadbean leaves (winter) and pods in summer, with a base of carrots and apples. Add some spinach, broccolli or beet root to taste. It tastes sweet and delicious.
My eye sight is improving all the time and I feel wonderful. Work six days a week and feel very positive about life.
Raw veg and fruit is the best as 40% of all nutrients are destroyed when heated over 130 deg.
A dehydrator works well for drying excess fruit from the garden or herbs and kale leaves. My veg garden has Kale, broad beans, thyme, rocket, rosemary and leeks at the moment.
In summer I can grow lettuce, spinach, parsley etc. and our trees give an abundance of Pekan nuts, figs and little lady finger bananas.
We are very blessed.
